The terms for using Onoro.
Plain-language terms for the Onoro website and app at onoro.app and my.onoro.app. Last updated 3 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Onoro (一诺) is provided by [Company name, SSM registration no.], Malaysia (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@onoro.app. By creating a workspace or using Onoro you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you sign up for.
2. Your workspace and accounts
- A workspace belongs to the organisation that created it. Its owner and admins decide who is invited and what role they have (team member, client, observer, verifier).
- Keep your login details safe and switch on two-step login for admin accounts. You are responsible for activity under your workspace’s accounts.
- Clients, verifiers and observers you invite are free and do not count toward your plan’s team limit.
3. Free trial
A new workspace gets a free 7-day trial with 1 project and up to 3 team members. When the trial ends, the workspace becomes read-only until you choose a paid plan: you and your clients can still see everything, and nothing is deleted.
4. Plans, payment and renewal
- Paid plans (Solo, Studio, Firm) are billed monthly in Malaysian ringgit at the prices on our pricing page. Plans differ only in the number of projects and team members.
- Until online card payment is available, you subscribe through our contact form, from the Plan page in the app, or by emailing hello@onoro.app. We send an invoice for bank transfer and switch your plan on once payment is received, normally within one working day.
- Each month is paid in advance. If a renewal invoice is not paid within 7 days of its due date, the workspace becomes read-only until it is paid. Nothing is deleted because of late payment.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A change applies from your next billing month.
5. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time by emailing us. Your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for; we do not refund part-months, except where Malaysian law requires it.
- After cancelling, the workspace becomes read-only. You can export your data (each user can download their own data from their profile) or ask us to delete the workspace.
6. Your content and data
- You own everything you and your clients put into Onoro: requests, cards, comments, files and reports. We use it only to run the service for you.
- How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy notice, written for Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to put your clients’ and staff’s personal data into your workspace.
- We keep a backup of the service every day. Backups are a safety net, not a replacement for your own records.
7. AI features
AI triage and translation are optional. When switched on, the text of a request or card is sent to the AI provider (Anthropic’s Claude API) to produce suggestions. Suggestions can be wrong; your team decides what to act on. If you use your own AI key, that provider’s terms and charges apply to you.
8. Sign-off records
A proof-of-delivery report records who accepted which items and when, with a record ID that anyone can check. It is a dated business record, not a certified electronic signature under the Digital Signature Act 1997. Whether it is enough evidence for a particular contract or dispute is for you and your advisers to decide.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use Onoro to break the law, to store or share content you have no right to share, to send spam, to upload malware, or to try to access other organisations’ workspaces or disrupt the service. We may suspend a workspace that does, after telling you why where we reasonably can.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Onoro available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may carry out maintenance. We may improve or change features over time; if we remove a major feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will email workspace owners at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Onoro after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
